Why did gas prices shoot up so much yesterday? In my AO gas went from $2.64 to $ 2.89 over night. I have a college degree and I admit that different maths wasn’t my best grades…But I know what’s up and down.

Nothing has happened locally that I know of. Shell was $2.89 ..mid range was in the low $4.00’s….93 octane was $4.39. I’ve got 2 Tacomas , a 2014 that uses reg. My 98 Taco has a Supercharger that gets by on 93 octane , but usually mid grade that I have to add Lucas octane booster. I put the SC on it in 2000. I could buy barrels of VP racing fuel for less than 87 octane costs today per gallon.
