Trump Meeting w/ Lil Kim

Well, we got one who is a dictator and the other who wants to be one. They should get along just fine.

A reunified K is something China will do all it can to put the brakes on. The competition from a staving workforce in NK willing to make cheap copies of shit in factories for pennies an hour would be a blow to China's economy. They already have serious competition from SK. Can you imagine how much more competitive South Korea would become with an influx of basic labor flooding into the SK factories.

Even worse, a united Korea will challenge China, the two countries have been fighting each other for many thousands of years. Koreans are thee most hard headed people I know.

What do you guys think?

#1 Thought,, I hope he succeeds,

#2 Thought, all the little shits from the G6 are in home in their shithole countries watching a great attempt at freeing 20 million people from starvation.
I know I'm a bad guy, but I'd rather invade and kick the ever living shit out of his military, and then reunify the country by force under the South. If this fails that may be what ends up happening anyway. He can't be allowed nukes, just like the Iranians can't (especially the Iranians).
This will ensure the dictatorship endures, which I am not a big fan of...

Although i do think it is a positive step and thoroughly enjoy the liberal downplays and back-pedaling, I remain guarded until further details are reached.

The great thing is that Trump has shown our "statesmen" who pride themselves on historical precedents for action through diplomacy that a businessman can get things done much faster. Trump turned the conventional process backwards and brought the NKs to the table by exerting maximum pressure. I totally believe without the added pressure of the sanctions and threat of war, this would be no different than the pea brains before tried to do. Kim understands that his hold on the populace will only go so far if his people remain impoverished. One bad winter would decimate the country as their oil supplies are down. For this, Trump should be applauded. I wonder what Jimmy "peanut" Carter is thinking right now.

But I certainly want to understand the details. It really is irrelevant if the NKs destroy their weapons. They have the know how to build a two stage weapon. They also have developed enough missile technology to launch said weapons if desperation rules. I believe this know how (tested) was a huge reason that they came to the table. All of that know how can rebuild whatever they destroy in short order, provided they retain a stockpile of the plutonium. If they don't get rid of that, they still have a large capability to recreate what they have today.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next few months.

Possibilities other than bomb / invade.

Whisper to SK and Japan they need to provide their own security. We would be happy to arm and train them. They would have to be worried enough to forget their pacifist ways and arm up with serious weapons that worry the chicoms. Possible downside is maybe the chicoms take them out. I doubt that would happen now but think it would be a sure bet if they armed up 30 yrs from now.

Make the chicoms think we're going to invade NK unless they do it first. Obvious downside is having to do it and getting attacked by the red bastards like last time.

JMHO.

I have a couple of potential scenarios:

1) Korea reunifies and South Korea uses its industrial economic power to bring the North into the world economy. But this scenario would be the demise of Kim. Also this would piss China off big time.

2) Trump makes trade deal with China that says, you take half the surplus in trade you have with us (the deficit we have with them) and move that industrial manufacturing to North Korea. This lets Trump and Xi save face and reduces our imbalance with China. It also lets Korea modernize and become economically viable. Kim would have to become less of a shithead to his people or they rise up and destroy him. But he could still be ruler for life if he mellows.

Scenario two would not reduce our Trade imbalance in the whole but would open a new market for our goods to NK and the deficit in Trade overtime would reduce. Win Win. That is why I think some form of scenario two would be most likely. The Genius of Trump.

Fox News is worse than CNN during the day. Shepard Smith is The Worst. Nothing but opinion crap/Trump hatred the whole day.

How is he still employed there? I would fire his ass immediately if he can’t report the news, and has to insert his asinine opinion every sentence.

Ben Shapiro didn't have too much good to say either...

Shapiro is right, but small ball. Trump held the Nork people in one hand, and their nuclear and ballistic missile program in the other (their ability to hit us), and decided, fuck the Nork people. Not surprising is it. MAGA, not MNKGA.

He is employed there because he is plays the skin piccolo... and you can't fire the only ass-pirate on the staff.... That would be racist.

Lets keep it real , this was all a show with very little substance no mater how hard you imagine something else.

What they signed was a declaration ,nothing more nothing less no fancy deal was made. Declarations as such are worth about as much as the next tweet .

Core of the signed declaration
''
Convinced that the establishment of new U.S.-DPRK relations will contribute to the peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula and of the world, and recognizing that mutual confidence building can promote the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un state the following:
  1. The United States and the DPRK [Democratic People's Republic of Korea] commit to establish new U.S.-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.
  2. The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
  3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work towards the complete denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula.
  4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.
''

Long and short both dudes with funny hair do won ,but reasons are quite selfserving to both

Fatboy from hermit kingdom won far more than Trump

Norks played their cards exceptionally well. built Nukes and ICBM capabilities under enormous pressure and used the leverage to elevate the country to a real player on the international stage. The "maximum pressure" sanction campaign is now defused. China, Russia and South Korea will again trade with North Korea.

Trump defused a conflict of more or less own doing that otherwise might have ruined his presidency if it went hot.

What happens next is reality ,nothing much for forseable future

The 'denuclearization' commitment by the DPRK is 'aspirational'. There is no time frame. DPRK will not give up its nukes any time soon. It had good reasons to build them and the same reasons to keep them still stand.

Its basicaly a ''Freeze'' which North Korea long wanted and which China and Russia actively supported. Now its time to slow walk the talks with US for at least couple of years, and work on more relevant talks with the South.

I think we all agree, in fact, I think everyone here has said this is the last attempt at peaceful resolution of the nukes our last 12 cowardly presidents left as a legacy to the world.

A nuke armed NORK will not exist by the end of Trumps first term.

Remember, Nixon met Mao and it took a year or more for anything to really come out of it.

The bottom line is that sure, unicorns didn't magically appear and cure cancer. Africa still sucks. Liberals are still making people laugh out loud at them. The sky is blue.

However, previous administrations, both republican and democrat have miserably failed (and that's being nice) to do ANYTHING with the NORKS other than to pay them off with container ships worth of food, lobster and a new Mercedes here and there. Then they kicked the can down the road. And did it again. And again. And again. And again. And again. This caused the NORK's to basically learn their behavior, as the only international Pavlov's Dog experiment to date, that if they start a bunch of baseless bullshit and threaten something, they get some attention, maybe even a shred of street cred and then that sweet, sweet container ship with the Mercedes shows up a few days later. Rinse/repeat.

By the time W Bush inherited this, he had it on cruise control and just hit the 'next' button every time something came up. Obama only made it worse because at baseline, he's an incompetent moron who's arrogance made him so predicable that a magic 8 ball was right more often than he was on basically anything. He was too stupid to even realize how stupid he was and that he should have also just kept hitting 'next'.

Then comes Trump. The NORKS do their usual bullshit maneuver, which they have basically been trained to do, and Trump doesn't budge. Fuck you. Fuck your Mercedes. He knows its a lose/lose for them; talk shit and I don't care and you get nothing. Actually attack someone and we have every reason in the world to basically slaughter all of you and end this forever; there may only be a handful of people in NORK that actually know that the US can destroy them before lunch time, but they are the ones who make the decisions.

So what happens? For the first time, the hermit King comes out of his little castle. You are basically upset that he didn't walk out and instantly surrender or something. Remember, there are deep seated political issues here with countries like China that NORK relies on; you can't just show up and hand over the keys to the US. Instead, Trump has now shown that he has the power, will and intelligence to actually put something together that the last 25+ years of President's haven't even remotely gotten close to. He put it together because he can actually say NO to people; case in point, look at all the frowny faces at the G7 - ever see that before? It's the power to say no when you're in the drivers seat with people who rely on you handing shit out to them. This is ironically, exactly why the NORKS are now talking to us. They have nothing else to do.

What Trump didi was right but in rality mzch more show than substance.

Its true Norks were in lose lose position , but its also true that now for no real comitment they are off the naughty list for time being and any implementation can be up to their pace years down the line . Norks played it right built nukes demonstrated ICBMs first talk ,later ,guess who didnt Gadafi, Saddam ,Assad,Iranian Mullahs there were no talks with them.

Even with guaranted destruction of hermit kingdom a posibility of a year round glow in the dark zone on mainland US made talks a thing at all.

You know you could actualy read what was signed. Its not a long read.

Till something changes for real there is a long road towards ''winning'' , but you can pretend

Okay mister Debbie Downer, where in this thread do you see anyone saying Mission accomplished???? Is your Kotex all sopping wet and wadded up because you are invested in one of the previous shithead cowardly fucks that let this situation metastasize?

Yes, its a long road, hopefully we travel that road fast. Pompeo, Kelly an Trump will go to war over this, and if you are an American you will be bough along with them as they are your leaders.

As far as the missile prowess you think rocket man has, you do understand we have sm3's and other missiles that can pluck anything he fires out of the sky as it launches or shortly after.

Again, the cleanest way to ensure rocket man would never have ICBM's is to fuck up the whole country , trump being the true democrat hippie he is is trying the peaceful route first, just like he said he would do back in the 70's the 80's , the 90's and the 2000's . Please dont be butt-hurt,

Quaddafi gave up all his wmd/nuke materials to Condeleeza Rice. He was a toothless tiger to the world just wanting to spend his last days in his tent until Obam got Alqueda/ISIS all worked up and Hillary thought his scalp would get her the Presidency.

Saddam was the UNs problem based on the UN cease fire in 1991. He made his bed with his lighting up US overflights, playing coy with WMD, and the supposed plot on Pappy Bush.

Assad was John Kerry and Nancy Pelosis best friend - look up the videos on Youtube - until it was decided ISIS was a better friend. We could have averted the whole mess by just letting the Russians know they could keep their naval base if they put someone else in power, just make sure to kick the shit out of ISIS -but ISIS was a friend of our last administration.

The last administration also sucked Mullah cock and offered itself for Ficki ficki nights.

No one is under the impression this is the end of the animosity but if there is the slightest crack in the veil of isolation that is North Korea you can bet the new knowledge those people come by when they learn the truth of the how the last 70 years have passed them by things will start to change most quickly.

Its a start.

the dirge was two years ago, this fuck is just so stupid he doesn't know he died already.

And , thank you.

Yer welcome. After all, it was a term of endearment......

BTW..........if it was two years ago, my 2nd grade math says he should have been under six feet of terra firma a long time ago. Is my math wrong ? (Sorry, I'm presently suffering from an excess of exploding ice cubes in my Johnny Walker Black.....Anyone know how the fuk to get all the air bubbles out of ice cubes so they don't blow up in your face/wasting perfectly good Scotch ?)

If you have ice trays fill them with hot water. Freezing slower will reduce the air bubbles.
Or get an ice maker (plug) that de-airs the ice. The trays are cheaper. I paid $4k for my ice maker at the beach.

Who else, not just the US, has been able to bring NK to the table in the last 70 years?

Waiting...

This is a long con. This gets China ready to actually negotiate tariffs and free trade.

I had high hopes for this shit storm of a presidency to do something. Thus far I'm simply amazed, and dumbfounded, at the continued shit storm and great success in the wake of shit storm. The side show of liberal's heads exploding is also extremely satisfying and entertaining.

Yep, liberals having stuttering meltdowns is always good.
They are just not having a very good week.
First, there was NK. Then there were the Trumpists kicking never-Trumpers asses last night. I think their anticipated blue wave may have shot its wad.
