Trump speech in Kansas

I am beginning to like this guy.

I gotta say if he stays healthy the next 6 years are going to be great, I never in my life thought we would be making such strides toward constitutionalism and reclaiming the republic without a war that would have killed 60 million plus. And its a fucking hotel owner builder and showman doing it. Truth is really stranger than fiction.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/v..._trump_hosts_maga_rally_in_topeka_kansas.html

Like Thomas Paine said in Common Sense, one does not need to be a king, lord, or other blue blood to know when the government is helping or hurting him, the common man knows when the government is hurting, rather than helping him.

I think Trump's biggest asset is that he knows how to pick advisers who know far more about things than he does. Scty of Defense Mattis is a great example of that.

I look forward to the day when your liberal hating fever finally breaks and you see this charlatan for the narcissistic illiterate power crazed con man he is. His disdain for the constitution (AKA: anything that imposes a limit upon his whims) will eventually be so blatant that even the zealots fawning over him here will see the light.

"His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it."

I didn't know a dude could have 'Daddy Issues'.

had to put this one here too

Oh I see, it's about semantics? Liberal, commie, dims...it's boring tripe, however, reading is fundamental. I never made any inference to an unconstitutional act, I said "his disdain for the constitution". In his own words regarding some guy running a tiny country called China:

"He's now president for life. President for life. No, he's great," Trump said. "And look, he was able to do that. I think it's great. Maybe we'll have to give that a shot some day."

Now, if we want to get into unconstitutional acts we could examine things like...

Foreign or Domestic Emoluments Clauses

Executive orders on immigration

Trump's Twitter blocking and the 1st Amendment

Obama disdained the Constitution because he considered it a bill of "Negative Rights" it stated specifically what he could not do and the bothered him because it keeps governments power in check.

So Obama is the new edition of a Founding Father and Trump is Xi?

So Trumps business makes money off of foreign governments becuase foreign people stay in the hotels. yet Hillary makes money off foreign governments by selling access through teh Clinton Foundation yet she is pure as the driven snow and Trump would be so evil as to sell our strategic uranium for personal profit?

Hey wait a minute.....

Not sure how you're surmising anything along those lines regarding Obama or Clinton from what I've written here, but it sure is amusing to read. Regardless, neither of them are currently running this country so WTF are you prattling on about?

Jerry asked, so I answered. That line of thinking is pretty bleak.

Half these stupid fucking lawsuits are injunctions to have Trump stop enforcing laws that Congress lawfully put on the books.

So Trump enforces immigration law as he is tasked to do as the executive and every Communist state AG that sees the threat this means to their illegal voting base and their desire to create a new population of dependency require more govt so they sue Trump.

A fan of frivolous lawsuits, great.....

You'll never catch me saying Hillary good, she's her own special version of corrupt. I just refuse to believe that anyone that's not a white power zealot with nothing to lose really wants civil war (mush less anyone that's actually spent time in an actual civil war) and believe that Trump is doing far more damage than good to the future of the republic. We the people, not Me the President. Time will tell, buy ammo.

BTW, you should read https://www.amazon.com/Story-One-Peter-Cleague/dp/1632636204

Idiot Antifa people went shithouse in RI today because a speaker at a Free Speech rally said "immigrants coming into the country should enjoy the culture they came from but they have to integrate into our culture".

Is that racist to you?

If the immigrant culture should be respected does the historical American culture get the same respect?

Ironically it's a page right out of the Republican playbook when Obama was President. Some would argue the states holding the federal govt accountable to their constituents via the courts is how the Republic is designed to function, but I digress.

The point is the courts have found his proclamations unconstitutional time and time again. Time will tell how reshaping the courts alters those outcomes. Regardless, his ill advised or at the very least poorly constructed policy has a track record of not passing constitutional litmus tests and it's even more haphazard and incompetent implementations have been utterly disgraceful by any standard.

I could find common ground with you should you be recognizing we are living under a govt of the Establishment that both parties work to maintain.

Trump is the first in a while that has come along and tried to give power back to the people.

I guess you like bureaucrats running things instead of the people.

No the 9th circuit has tried to legislate from the bench and the SJC has overturned their hissy fits.

On the grand scale, 241 years hardly suggests there's a historical culture other than that of immigrants.

The culture is entreprenuership, exploration and bootstraps.........you salute the flag not kneel nor take it down and replace it with one from the country you left........the history of America is E Pluribus Unum and the melting pot not Balkanization and protected classes of people.

Historically immigrants came here and they would be ashamed to take from the system without contributing.

Our immigration system has become one that supports creating a labor slave class at the expense of citizens being able to find good work.

We know the history, sure some of it is imbued with myth, but the newspeak shit you are promoting is not reality.

We are in total agreement here. I just don't think Trump is the savior some folks are making him out to be. I feel he's a hack con man that rode a mountain of daddy's cash to a mediocre career swindling and suing people while building a pleasant bubble of sycophantic delusion in which his praise echoed 24/7. He doesn't give a rats ass about anyone but himself. Eventually his shtick will fail spectacularly at the expense of all parties involved, most notably the middle class of flyover America that most fervently supports him. Shit, just wait until the interest payment on his tax cut debt surpasses the military budget next year.

Trumps conservatism fails miserably when it comes to spending.

That last regime set us up with a Cloward and Piven strategy that created a ticking time bomb.

Everything the last guy did was designed to become a catastrophy when he was out of office.

Trump has blown 1 trillion, where was your voice when Odumbo spent 10 trillion?

You have been here since 2009....where was your voice?

Kneel, take it down, burn it, I don't give a fuck. That's a freedom this country should afford. That's a freedom worth fighting for. That's a freedom that separates us from the fervent nationalism of tyrants throughout history.

We can talk about immigration reform and welfare reform, we should really, but that's digressing. Both are worthy of long thoughtful and constructive debate. Sadly we aren't living in a country that's capable of such debate anymore. Partisanship is the enemy of the people, not the media. It's what allows the corporatocracy to keep compiling wealth and power while the plebes bicker over the latest hyperbole. Follow the money. Always follow the money...and buy ammo. ;-)

Oh...and Trump wouldn't know a boot if it hit him in the head, which it probably would, because rumor has it he's no George Bush.

243 years or is 241 some new SJW historical change.

April 19,1775 kicked off.

Is there a new date out there?

I have no idea what SJW means but math is hard and I'm sitting here in the dark while the ladies of the house have some idiotic movie on with the volume at 11, and there's scotch involved, so computational errors are likely to occur.

Damn. Good think I give a shit less what you think. He is not only your president now but will be come 2021 too. So find your favorite liberal book and sit on it. Trump is not the second coming and he may not even be a stringent conservative but he is doing a hell of a job and I loved watching ur kind melt down when he won the presidential election. I think I’m going to get on liberal YouTube and watch some libtard freak outs in your honor. It makes me laugh every time.

Only legal immigrants deserve respect. The illegal ones need deported and if they come back cut a finger off and if they come back again cut a hand off. That ought to drop the rape rate nation wide.

If you really believed in a country that gives the freedom to burn the flag - as our country does - you would appreciate that fact so much that you would never burn the flag.

You are boring me with your weak arguments.

Enjoy your scotch and your bitterness. You have another 6 years of pain ahead of you.

You are a sad, ignorant little man. Just look at who the judges are and the basis, or lack thereof, of their rulings.

Ignorant implies he doesn’t know any better. I think he does,he just likes to argue and use big words to try and make people think he is brighter than he is. I think the latest judicial nomination just set him off lol

Not sure who you think I am, but sadly I don't fit into any of your convenient pigeon holes. You think this is blind rage? Pshaw. Triggered? LOL, that's cute. Deplorables? That's just fucking retarded. Republicans? No such thing anymore. Civil war? Not so sure about the civility of it, but I'm your huckleberry. Drastic reductions in population solve many problems simultaneously. If anything, I'm a fan of efficiency.

"During the two terms of the Reagan administration, 39 multistate lawsuits were filed, with a single year peak of seven lawsuits in 1982, according to Nolette’s tracking.

Under the elder Bush, the number of multistate lawsuits peaked at three in 1991, with a total of eight for the four-year term. President Bill Clinton faced 18 multistate lawsuits during his two terms in office, with a single-year peak of five in 1997.

Under the two terms of the younger Bush, the number of multiyear suits leaped to 44, with a single year peak of 10 in 2003.

Obama saw 46 multistate lawsuits over his eight years, peaking at 13 in 2015."

Tump is currently at 89.
Did you say pigeon hole????

????????????????????????????????

I won't get into the SJW blather... but if anyone wants a 'date' when things really started to turn American... I'd look at the timeperiod around the French/Indian War(s) of the 1750's to 1763.

It was a proxy war... and the Colonists did not like being used as pawns. England racked up massive debts and then tried to make the colonies pay those debts, arguing that they were for the protection of the colonies... even though the wars were orchestrated from London and Paris.

The officers and many of the men who fought the Revolution, were veterans of the French-Indian War(s). Trained and angry at the way they were treated as second-class soldiers and cannon fodder, often by British officers un-accustomed to North American-style warfare (what later became 'the American Way of War').

This timeperiod lit the fuse. If I were to pick a date... it would be 1759... the year of the St. Francis raid. Because at this point, the Americans were really gelling into a force that was capable of doing things their way. And showing the English that they needed to learn from the 'locals.'

But that's just my opinion.... There are good arguments to be made for even earlier dates. Bacon's rebellion and culpeppers rebellion in the 1670's could both be considered watershed events as colonists rose up against crown governments. But too few colonists and poor communications kept the 'spirit' from travelling. The arrival of the printing press, good communications via road and ship, and Ben Franklin's pamphleting were also big contributors...

The Stamp Act was the moment the lit fuse hit the detonator.

Cheers and sorry for the ramble...

Sirhr

@truth

You don't get it because destruction is what you want........Fundamental change.

Kill the goose the lays the eggs of freedom.

Place ain't perfect but that isn't a fault of our founding documents.

Both political parties have wrought havoc putting party ahead of Republic.

And agreed the Patriot Act is a crime against the People - FISA, cameras on every light pole........

OK, so on a totally different note,,, am I the only one here whom has clicked on the link in the opening post (just now) and my firefox and computer went totally screwy?

As in, other windows/pages suddenly appeared, and I "had to give my username and password" to some unknown entity to continue and all that rot. I had to completely shut down firefox, restart it, and go through the windows and tabs to eliminate anything I didn't want. The offending pages that popped up just WOULD NOT close otherwise. Vicious loop/circle of hell.

Anyone?

That's why I run an ad blocker and a script blocker.
They are a pain to use as you have to be deciding what scripts you want to allow and not for each site, but it's well worth it.
