Two trillion. Not exactly sure what's all in it, but I bet half of it is pork for campaign donors.

Monies inside this bill will continue to make “citizens” of this nation dependent on the government. It’s sad to see so many individuals in this nation need our tax dollars to survive. Sad for us, not them. This bill will progress this. It needs to end. I have many friends and colleagues who own their own businesses and in my communist blue state, they can’t work right now, so they’re taking a huge hit. But they’re figuring out how to dig themselves out of this hell hole. The creatures who live one town/city over from me? Not so much. It’s business as usual. Pajama pant wearing individuals with addictions and no work ethic. This bill reenforces them.

Uncle sugar daddy came through. As usual in order for them to do the right thing it had to be mixed in with all the wrong things.

It started out being talked about as 1.5-2T. Then Mon. and Tues. all of a sudden they were saying 6T!! I'm kind of relieved it dropped back to "just" 2T. But perhaps that was their plan all along.

I hope my stash of popcorn holds out long enough to see how this debacle rolls out. It's a 1,400 page bill. Did they pass it to see what was in it? Remember that one? In spite of what they want us to read, the main portion of the pig will go to the corporations, some may make it to the small business owners, and what's left after being laundered back to the politicians pockets. and after it trickles down through the multi levels of government corruption, incompetence, and mis-management may actually go to the out of work people who stand to lose everything, that is, after weeks of "setting up" the programs. Remember, it's going to take weeks to set up the multiple agencies needed to over see this.
Try to remember when anything passed by Congress actually benefited the American people and was implemented and managed as presented.
The Government has never successfully managed anything and it is not likely to start with this.
If and when the politicians are called out for fucking up yet another program, we will be reminded how complex it was, how long they labored over it, and in the end they did the best they could.
Onward to the next pork project.
If we are ever going to be hit with the big one, I pray that DC will be in the crosshairs.

I am one of "those people" who think the cure is worse than the disease. I ask anyone who is all in on the current process, "do you expect the same government who reacted to this with panic to actually solve the issues they created?"

Never going to happen. Wonder if they're going to borrow the money from China? Not like they're making anything off bonds....
