Tyler did a great job on his 2012 deer.

He spotted the buck about a half mile off and we made a plan. We got down in the bottom of the draw and made a good stalk on him. We popped up where we thought he'd be and the buck had cruised down some and came out a little over 200 yards away.

I ranged him at 209 yards and moving as Tyler got set up. He told me he was on him and I made a grunt with my voice and stopped the buck at 217 yards. The 139 Hornady SST outta the Beanland built 7mm-08, did great again !!

The deer is right at 18" wide. Good meat for the freezer....

Proud dad and a fun afternoon hunt !

Really great pictures as always Scott. Tell Tyler congrats and glad that rifle is getting used, looks dang nice in those pictures in front of a deer.
Congrats to the "guide" as well:)

Yeah buddy! It seems like Tyler is always getting it done. Must not have anything to do with the guide

I really like those WY whitetails. They always have such prominent white marking around the muzzle and eye sockets.
