This a product from Dynatek Coatings out of Kansas City Mo.

Since Hornady no longer produces their .308/178 gr. A Max w/moly coating I am forced to either moly my own, more costs, time and equipment, or switch to some type of bore coating.

Does anyone have any experience w/DynaCoat, in particular, or any other type of bore coating?

Their literature states that their product will reduce fouling substantially, in some cases up to 100%.

Since I often shoot matches of from 60 to 100 rounds, I want to maintain the most accuracy I possibly can from beginning to end, which moly allowed me to do.

My rifle is an Armalite AR10T w/LW barrel.

Any help would be appreciated...

Re: Ultra Bore Coat

OK...so no help there! Looks like I'll have to coat the bullets myself.

I have done a search and can't find ANY info on bullet coating...anyone have any recommendations?

Have been using moly, but I understand that there is a boron nitride powder that is just as good as moly and not as messy to use.

What equipment will need to use the boron material and where can I buy it and the boron?

TIA

The original UBC was great....thin, penetrated well, and worked like a charm, as advertised, good shelf life too. It was a gray colored stuff, that also stained everything it made contact with. People bitched and the formula got changed.

Now it's a clear, thicker stuff, that dries WAY too fast....as in before you can get a decent coat in the barrel....and the shelf life is absolute shit. For the price of it you'd best have a whole stable of rifles to coat at one time, because it WILL harden in the bottle.

If the old formula could still be had I'd still be using it....the new stuff....you can keep it.
