I stopped and bought a Lyman Universal Decapping tool today on the way home. Got home and started with .45 changed the shellholder to 9mm, then to 223, then to 308, and finally to 338.
When I put the 338 in it starts to get resistance right before the webbing. The case is larger than the mouth of the die.
It said 22-45. I'm assuming it wasn't accounting for a case that large. The only exclusion it had was two weatherby cartridges.
Will any of the others work so I can go to town before I tumble brass or am I going to have to try to decap using my sizing die and then tumble?
