You ordered a can, your DEALER told you to expect 3-4 weeks. It didn't happen. How did AAC jerk you around there? You haven't talked to anyone at AAC, you haven't talked to anyone at ATF, yet somehow you're sure that your dealer has done nothing wrong and that AAC has fucked it all up. Your dealer tells you they lost the order, but you haven't talked to anyone at AAC about it.

Frankly, you sound like a nightmare customer. NFA is a waiting game, if you demand satisfaction in Time Frame X, you should stick to Title I items. I ordered an "in-stock" Cyclone like 8-10 weeks ago. It still hasn't arrived at the out-of-state dealer, much less at my local dealer. But you know what? I'm not all over the internet posting that AAC, or anyone else, lied to me. If I want an update, I call Mike Mers and ask for one. </div></div>

+1 on this post.

Keep in mind you C3 dealer didnt call for 8 weeks to check up on this for you. Sounds like you should know where you stand in his book of importance. </div></div>

KYshooter338, now I do agree with that statement...low on priority is a definite issue as to why there was a problem for eight weeks and I ended up in the postition that I was - no where.

Re: Am I being yanked around by my Suppressor deal

You'll enjoy the M42000... great can! To be honest, I don't think there is a .223 that is better for most guns... SPRM4 in some situations, but great can choice.

Did you talk to AAC at all? or just your dealer?

Did your dealer pay with a credit card over the phone at the same time that he ordered or was he sending in a check?

I am simply curious. Thanks

IF you talked to AAC and AAC told you that they lost the paperwork, I have no more questions.

If your dealer told you that AAC lost the paperwork, then to be honest I've seen more dealers screw things up then suppressor companies.

Please note I am not defending AAC... I'm just curious

I have no issue with AAC cans in fact in a couple of months I will have my M4/2000 to play with.

Some think that if I didn't talk to AAC personally it could be the dealer. I guess that is true except I was in the shop and standing next to him when he ordered from AAC. If I was not there then I could look at my dealer with skepticism but in this case I was there when it was ordered.

For those who think I am bitching well I guess I am a bit but isn't this what this blog is all about for us to talk gun related items. Sorry if this bored you Conqueror but I put it out there as what happened to me and may be someone will learn from me.

I have my paperwork for the new AAC M4/2000 in my hands and I am getting my fingerprints tomorrow and have a office call with the Sheriff. Then I can start the long ATF wait process - no big deal. I don't expect it until July or August or thereafter.

Hello all,

I don't get on this board as much as I should. Sorry, I really wish I would have seen this sooner.

Truth is, we dropped the ball on this order. Your dealer ordered your can and about 10 different shirts. I took the order and gave it to the billing department. Billing ran the card and overlooked the silencer. That means no form 3 was started for the in stock (yes, it really was and is in stock) silencer.

We just overlooked it all together. Sorry brother, I feel bad all this happened. This has only happened one other time in the 1.5 years I have been here. Good news is Remington is setting us up with a new computer system that will not allow this to happen ever again.

Long story short we messed up. Let me make it up to you.

How about another flash hider to mount the new M4-2000 on your rifle?

Just PM me your info or email me @ [email protected]

Mike, I want to be first up front and say I don't hold any ill will towards AAC and I am not trying to bash AAC I was just saying what happened more to say to others that I think when you order a can you, as in me, need to stay on top of it and I let the ball go too far down the road before I got involed. Shit happens and I know that. In fact I like AAC cans so much that I got an AAC M4/2000 today from Brett. You guys have a great product and I will be back for more.

thanks for the offer and I will email you and talk off line. AAC is a class act and if not, I wouldn't have come back for an M4/2000.

thanks, Mike

Re: Am I being yanked around by my Suppressor deal

fact : aac cares way more about comerical customers then joe blow. More profit margin and this is something they have stated themselves plenty of times on public forums.

/sarcasm on

Right, AAC is the ONLY manufacturer that hopes they get a large "commercial order" instead of a one time order by joe blow.

AAC has terrible customer service when you're joe blow... sending a free extra mount is crap and AAC should be hung for it.

/sarcasm off

EVERY company I know prefers large orders to small ones... last I checked not a single manufacturer of suppressors were turning down single orders from "joe blows". Maybe Knights?
