Hi all,

Looking at upgrading my slide stop in my Citadel officers 1911. What is a good brand to go with? Also, looking at upgrading mainspring housing, and firing pin stop. Reccomendations?

I'm a fan of either Cylinder & Slide or Wilson Combat for 1911 upgrade parts. They can be purchased through your favorite parts vendor. I often get things from Brownells.

Alright. Having some issues with the slide stop walking out, and causing some FTF. Are there any stops out there that are pinned, or have a c-ring that prevents the pin from walking? That seems to be my main issue. Could the barrel link or link pin also cause this?
