I would like to find a hard case that will allow me to travel with 2 or 3 rifles in an upright position in the back of the truck. None of them are over 36” long with folded stocks. The Pelican 1740 is just about perfect at 12x12x40”. But it’s over $400 and I really don’t need that level of protection. Could even be a simple aluminum box for all I care... interior foam will have to be heavily customized no matter what. Anyone got any cost effective suggestions?
