Make towers every 1/2 mile and man them with volunteer riflemen.

I've said for years that all they would need to do would be to check on me every once in a while, drop some food, water and ammo.
Put up some range flags to make sure they were within US territory and relocate every so often to keep them guessing.
I'd do it for free.

Could you put the crosshairs on the forehead of an 8 year old girl and squeeze the trigger? I realize alot of very good shots like to think they could kill an illegal immigrant but not all of them are drug runners, most are regular folks looking for the same thing the huddled masses sought at Ellis Island.
So can you wipe out an entire family one 7.62 at a time?

A couple machine guns on the border, some footage of them shooting at running illegals on Mexican TV, and the border is much more secure.

No I couldnt/wouldnat. It was just a smart assed reply. I used to own a ranch 90 km north of the border near Del Rio Texas and had multitudes of them cross my place each week. I always gave them water and medical attention if needed. My place never got robbed while the others in the area who threatened them did. I have a great respect for anyone who will waalk 400 milses throug the desert just to work at a job I wouldnt want. I appreciate your post.

Land mines are becoming obsolete in our military conflicts as of late. Yet we have millions of them just sitting around in Armored .... Lets mine the border using the illegals that are taking up room in our prisons.
I'm all about good working people coming to America LEGALLY using the system that is in place.
Our ancestors had to fight for freedom from the tyranical control of the British. How many of our young men and wemon had to die in that battle? No actual figure but estimates around 25,000 troops died, and an unkown # of civilians. At least we stood up to our oppressors!!!!
I'm pretty sure America would arm the civilians if they would only stand up and say enough!!!! No denial, Blood will be shed!
