I am loading for 2 338 Lapua Mags.
Do you recommend one load for hunting, using hunt style bullets, and another for steel & paper using target style bullets?
I ran out of the 300 Berger Tactical, now I will be using the 300 elite hunter.
Will the same load work with the new bullets? I hope so.
The remington likes the 250 Nosler Accubonds the best. The 300 SMK are MOA.
The Savage likes the 250 AB's also. It was shooting the tactical Bergers @ 1/2 MOA @ 600 yards. Now I have to switch and go withe the elite hunter in 300 grain. I hope I can use the same load.
I will be sending both scope in for a custom mark for turret for one of the loads. I should be able to 'cheat' with a ballistics app and make the second load work.
What do you think? Thanks!

If you use different bullets you will have to use a different load. I also use the 300 gr OTM and still trying to come up with a load data. I would actually recommend you designate the gun to your shooting style ie hunting and target and load that way. No 2 guns will like the exact same custom loads. The barrel length, twist, chamber, etc will all be different between the guns. Hope that helps

I only shoot the 250s, but I don't hunt. If your weapons like the 250 ABs, then work with them. I like 89grs of H-4831SC under all of my target loads, with a 215M popping them off.
