Now that the B25 has been out in the wild for a little while is like to hear some first hand impressions. Please share the good, the bad, and the ugly.

    Thanks in advance.

I love my b25. It's just a well thought out scope. It's reliable, tracks perfectly, durable. I'm really happy with the b series scopes.
I have three of the b25, and two b17. All are rock solid.
Im pretty hard on my equipment, so I wanted something durable like the us optics. I also really like that they are a us company. So I'm supporting Americans building a product on Us soil with us parts.

What lens caps are you running on your B-17's Jake? Also, how good is the USO glass as compared to the ATACR and S&B? For what they are charging for these, it better be damn good..

I too am very interested in this. I have been eyeballing a B17. Can't find much info on it. For $2500 how does it compare to a Razor Gen 2 or ATACR?

Also what caps are you using for your B25?

Right now I'm not using caps. But soon I am told they will be available. I'm hoping for tenerbex caps. Which is highly likely. That being said I don't run caps. They just get in my way. I would much rather have something like the old Bushnell double bungee plastic caps. Super effective, simple, and I can take them off and throw them in my pack

They are spendy. Here's how I look at it.
Ive shot say 75 precision rifle series, national rifle league, field matches, etc etc over the last three years.
You can look up my results, no need for me to pump myself up.
Ive had two problems in 75 matches with my us optics scopes.
1-had a scope fog up on me at the snipers hide cup in 2015. I switched scopes mid match and still won by a lengthy margin.
Man it pissed me off. But it was literally pouring down rain for three straight days. Something leaked, and it fogged up on the inside. I think a seal went bad.

2-I was at a match in Texas, it was hotter than an African desert, and I backed my scope down to about 8 power and I could see a little bit of what looked like grease on my lense. Again pissed, but what do you do. No biggie, just keep shooting. I pulled a second place finish here.

Heres what I know. A scope is a mechanical device put together by hands of a man or woman. It will fail at some point. There are balls and detents and pins and seals. It will fail at some point.

But i run us optics becasue they are so so darn reliable, durable and most importantly for me, repeatable.
These guys are tracking machines. Ive never had a tracking problem. They use high quality parts, high quality Americans put everything together here in America.
Everytime I dial up, its where it's suppose to be, I dial back down, it's where it's suppose to be.

As far as glass, they are not on the same playing field as a tangent theta, or Schmidt and bender, but they are right in the middle of everything else below that. That is per my eyes. And I've looked through and own about all of them.

AsK yourself this, what's most important to you about scopes?
    Make a list from 1-6
    For me it's this
    1-reliability
    2-tracking
    3-durability
    4-features
    5-glass
    6-looks

if you can see it super duper clear, but your reticle is not in the right spot and you can't trust it what good is that?? That's why it's down the list for me. All these high end scopes are splitting hairs and they are all honestly really good.

Thanks Jake for your feedback, no need to look you up, I know you have a lot of accomplishments.. I respect your input and your being straight forward not only about the good stuff, but also the failures that you have experienced in the optics over time.. Thanks man
