Rifle Scopes USO erek zeroing question.

I have a SN-3 I bought used with the EREK knob. I want to reset the knob to zero but I didn't get the nifty cover with the hole in it they show in the video detailing resetting the turrets. Can I do it without have the special cover? Any help would be appreciated!

So, there is no way to zero the turret without the cap with the hole?

You can set the turret on zero, but you won't be able to set your erek as a zero stop. I'm always trashing the center hole caps.
