Figured i would ask here if anyone has noticed this, or what the reason is for it. I figured maybe in the glass or the the way they have to do the FFP. ?

I had my sn3 3.2-17 out today and when set on 10x i was looking at a barn around 1250 away. when i looked though the st10 it was much larger. I had to have the sn3 at about 12.5x for the barn to be the same size. Is there a reason that 10x varies from each scope. Both new and completed within the last 2-3 months. the st-10 is ergo, and the sn3 is t-pal. just wandering why this is. Both scopes at 10x rnaged the barns the same using the reticle. But the size of the barn varied. ?

Re: USO, fixed vs variable sight picture size ?

Sounds like the magnifications were tHe same, but the sight picture was different between scopes, not uncommon. Sight picture depends on the objective size, eye relief, etc.
