Wife just informed me that I can in fact go ahead and place one on order next month if I want as a present for moving her south. Looking to see a few pictures on how big they are sitting a rifle.

How easy to adjust the objective from prone for parallax?

How easy to see the reference marks?

BO ring height with the 58mm?

And, any other useful intel.

Thanks

Re: USO SN 3.8-22x58 Help?

the parallax is extremely forgiving on the ergo setup. on my 3.2-17x44 ergo I was just looking at it this morning at 900 and 1800yds at 10-17x. The picture remains clear from infinity down to about 200yd marking on the bell. Not so on my side focus...that has to be nuts on.

I took a needle and some acrylic paint and made some dots on the top of the bell - kinda like reading in brail heh...works really nice.

another option might be steel epoxy - if you prep'd correctly I doubt that stuff would come off.

It is very easy to adj. the obj. from prone once you get used to it.

I don't look at the reference marks when adjusting. I just do it until it becomes clear.

No BO rings here, but I have a set of 35mm USO rings that are mediums and it is about a perfect fit for my full contour barrel.

Other useful intel.... over 22 mils of elevation with a 100 yard zero and the zero stop set at 1 mil below the zero mark.

Re: USO SN 3.8-22x58 Help?

Thanks guys, about the size I thought with 4" sunshade. My concern is confirmed it may sit too high up for my fixed comb A5. I have a few weeks till the wife releases the coin for me to spend to give it more thought.

Anyone with BO ring help, sure appreciate to know .885 med or 1.0 med/high.

Thanks again
