V3 Auto Trickler

I went ahead and ordered the V3 auto throw and trickle and FX-120i scale I got the scale from amazon and the auto trickle set up from auto trickler hopefully it’s as good as the reviews I have read have said it is, 1200 bucks is a lot of money for a scale haha!

Most my Area 419 items (bling) work. The only piece I couldn't use with the V3 setup was the aluminum housing that's made for the V2 Auto Throw. I'm currently using Area 419's clear lid, the funnel (that attaches to the Auto Throw), plus the clear powder funnel. All work as designed.

I love mine, coolest piece of reloading gear I own. Definitely sped up the charging portion of my reloading process while making it more accurate as well.

Adam has corrected all of the short comings of the V2 with the V3. The only Area419 aftermarket part which you would need is the clear lexan lid / top for the scale. You don't need anything else. If you don't get the clear lid it's going to drive you absolutely freaking crazy! ........ I got the lid! Crisis adverted!!!

I have this exact setup. The V3 setup with Area419's clear lid. Its awesome.

If you're going to upgrade anything on the Auto Throw and Trickler, the Area 419's clear lid is the best .

You could have saved 20% by shopping around and going to where everyone else is getting them.

Only 419 addition I would get to Adam's V3 is the clear lid. And the above message is correct as to where you could/should have ordered

Besides the clear lid from 419...another potentially worthy upgrade would be the powder cup if you have issues with the shot glass from the V3 kit

My V3 trickler walks on my table, the 419 upgrade base weighs significantly more and hopefully will solve the trickler movement.. I like the V3 cup and boomerang better than the 419 cup and replacement plate.

I have both v2 and v3 running. I made the best of both worlds and put the best of these into one version and the seconds to the other scale. Both ruN the v3 electronics, but the v3 powder drop with 419 accessories is the way to go.

Just a heads up...if you use a drill/drill bits to cut a hole in one of the side windows for the trickler tube to go through...start REALLY small and then work up very very gradually to the biggest drill bit you intend to use.

If you skip too many sizes on the drill bit, the window just starts “chipping” and breaking chunks out. When I was getting close to finished I didn’t skip a single size bit...it turned out great. Finished it off with a sanding attachment for my Dremel

I left out some of the upgrades Area 419 offers and which I'm currently using with my V3 system:
1) Pyrex Powder Supply - replaces Auto Throw powder supply.
2) Powder funnel - attaches to base of Auto Throw and replaced the straw on v2 version of the Auto Throw . Works with the V3 Auto Throw.
3) Self Centering plate - for the A&D Scale.
4) Clear Lexan lid - for the A&D Scale.
5) Billet Powder Pan.
6) Billet Adjustable Trickler base - replaced the plastic V2 Auto Trickler base. Works on the V3 version.
7) Bluetooth Board
