I have a Valkyrie and will be quite happy to punch paper and ding steel. I also intend to do some varmint hunting with this gun - Pdogs for sure. I have no idea of how much bigger game this caliber is capable of taking. Any thoughts? I am not considering this for deer/hogs, but how about coyotes?

Coyotes for sure. It should also be deer capable, provided you use a good solid hunting-type bullet.
Hopefully my post does spin this thread into yet another "you can use match / target bullets for hunting" thread. Yep, still not buying it...

Anyway, for varmints, you want a good explosive varmint bullet, which are typically going to be less than 55 grains. I like the 53 grain v-max. Out of my 22-250, it drops yotes in their tracks and does the ole "pink mist" number on pdogs.

Regarding a 224 caliber i woukd have to

Regarding a 224 caliber i would have to completly agree with you on the match bullet comment while I use the 178 Amax for hunting it is an entirely different animal altogether when run at modest 308win velocities it behaves far different than a 224 cal pushed at high velocity. The fusion load would be a good candidate for hunting if your not a reloader , if you reload any of the monolithic hunting bullets work very well but can be fussy unless you work up a load for them in a clean barrel and only shoot those. That has been my experience with the Barnes and Nosler mono bullets, an alternative to both the fusion and monolithic bullets is the Partition that has a well proven track record.

Guys have been doing lots of killing with 75 amax at 3k out of 223AI rifles.

I certainly dont doubt that I've killed them with the 55vmax but the OP mentioned hogs. A behind the ear shot is allways the best safest bet if a big boar is the target using a 224 cal unless a bullet of sturdy construction is used. I have killed hogs with rimfires as well so long as I had a good shot in the sweet spot behind the ear.
