Van Jones Says Something I Can't Believe:

I didnt see the speech so I cant address it directly. My thought is, was his sole intention to honor the fallen SEAL or was there an underlying motive of using it to make himself look better?.

I dont know, dont have an opinion, just the question.

I suppose, if it was unifying, it was a good move regardless. Except perhaps for the libbys.

I didn't see that part of his speech so I only know what I've read.

I don't think anyone can ever know what his intentions were. I ask myself how could he honor a fallen hero and not have one side say it was for a self serving purpose? There will always be two sides to every argument. Some have said he used the widow as a prop.

I say regardless of the true intentions that we'll probably never know, he acknowledged one family's ultimate sacrifice on a very large international stage. I think all any of us can do is take that at face value until a future time that something causes us to change that view.

Well, my post really has nothing to do with Trump's true intentions. It's about Van Jones' reaction to the moment. He's a militant leftist, and self-professed Communist, and it's hard to imagine a bigger Trump enemy.
