Rifle Scopes Vector Continental Tac FFP 3-18x50 cover flip-up

I have a Howa HCR with the scope mentioned in the title, the scope sits low on the rifle for accuracy- see attached photo.

There is no flip-up covers that fits the tight gap on the front of the scope, which brings me here! I was wondering if anyone knew whether an indented solution existed, or if I'm just better off raising the scope...Any help is much appreciated, thank you in advance!

Yes, that's indeed what i have. That is probably the best way to resolve the issue, just wanted to get an insight from the people who knows way better than me!

Could try to relief cut a cap but don't thing it would last
