So, just so a few of you don't think I'm "just" agitating in the bear pit with nothing better to do, firearms related activity this week:
1. Put new extractor in 1911, restored to full duties.
2. Changed handguard from Yankee hill to bravo company on one sbr, feels much nicer.
3. Changed red dots on two, to optical sights, to make them clip on thermal friendlier, which is what led to #2, new slightly longer handguard.
4. Put the nxs 2.5-10 on the 308 with the most recent silencerco qd, and am impressed with that set up. It's going to kill a Christmas pig.
5. Got a CK Arms 9mm carbine and a group of us are having early Christmas fireworks and some of the most fun we've had since we got rid of the mp5sd.
6. Let GF14E2 convince me I needed a ar pistol with blade brace rather than another sbr because there aren't the usual class 3 travel restrictions and I wish I'd done this waayyy sooner. Even though the pistol and sbr are "almost" going to be twins... :- )
7. Not firearms related, kinda, but did concrete work on a ramp to make it easier to roll the handtruck in with ammo cases... :- )
8. And repaired a long running electrical problem on a tractor that kept blowing fuses, so I can keep the last 200 yards of the 800 yard range behind the house mowed so GF14E2 can see the 800 yard target.
Now, back to the regularly scheduled bear pit agitation....
Good, seeing the target was easier with the skinny tree gone, but a match would have allowed testing your fire guys. The Russian's 1/5th brown med bottle, took me 9 rds to break which I blamed on the grass, even though the bottle was side ways. Course I was relying on his ability to read trace, lol.So, just so a few of you don't think I'm "just" agitating in the bear pit with nothing better to do, firearms related activity this week:

Bear pit is gonna get interesting on this......
Almost as much as news reports that Sessions orders inquiry into Uranium 1.
Surprised both these things haven't been brought up yet.
So.......
A coroner’s report confirmed Thursday that all 58 people killed during the Las Vegas shooting on Oct. 1 died of gunshot wounds.

Veer, you look funny in that hat. Looks like you gained some weight too. And they make meds to help you with those nervous twitches. Good luck on your weight loss and twitch fix. Merry Christmas.
McLaine, we got some det cord for your useless appendage, when it goes off, with you bent so far over with your lips on it, the det cord will get rid of both your useless appendage and your lips too. Solve a lot of your problems. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
When the media covers events of such importance there is normally video evidence. Until I see same, ie, bullet impacts, bullet riddled hallways, blood stained ground clothing ect, nothings changed to me.
Fox news only reports what is handed to them like all the other fake media outlets. One guy in the system saying it happened this way, w/o photo/video proof, they could have all been from Chicago as far as I know. Openly lying in print/paper/video an hawking it as truth, makes those of us who can think for our self's, who set on jurys remember the shadow of doubt clause. Unintended consequences is a real fact of life, in a mind fucking war, with those who lock step. Which many here seem to stride for. Many a innocent has been put behind bars by a jury of lock steppers, who either were afraid to ask the tough questions, did not know what questions to ask, or just wanted to get home to watch their soap/ball game. I don't want that kind judging me, but many here seem to roll with the flow? That's good in away as it separates, those with experience from those who believe everything they are told. I just hope the jury that is seated for your trial is the one your most comfortable with.

Yep, show me the door with 200 bullet holes and explain to me how that many rounds impacted into whatever the outside wall material is and stayed in place rather than causing mayhem amongst hotel occupants in adjacent rooms.
The first hotel Ive heard of that is built to stop bullets yet all the ones I stay in cant even stop sound from passing through the walls.
