Normally this would just be mildly interesting, but today my McMillan stock, new M5 bottom metal, and an AI magazine were dropped on the porch of my gunsmith. I called him 5 minutes after seeing this.

Bad, must have been a seasonal worker. My UPS guy at work (we have daily deliveries and a scheduled pick up) would never do this.

As a fellow UPS driver I'm appalled that he would do that. Our company is serious about dishonest acts. There is a poster at work offering 5k reward to information leading to the arrest of someone that acts dishonestly. In my opinion they should be giving the 5k to this man and his family. A dishonest driver could easily take more than that in a real short period of time. I'm glad they fired his ass.

I constantly deliver guns, scopes, spotters, and everything under the sun to my customers, and love my job. My customers are great to me.

Graham, they pay us for our job, that's all that is needed. We have amazing benefits, and a job in this economy....that goes a long way.

I got several bags of homemade sweets and other things....that means more to me than anything because someone actually took the time to do it and thought of me.....

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't object if someone offered me a NF scope with a pretty little bow....lol

A ups driver once delivered a ruger I had a recall done to , to a kid down the street. I was outside trimming the hedges as he past me. Delivered like 5 houses down and as he passed me leaving my phone vibrated "ups delivery : package delivered" chased him down to the stop sign. He refused to go back , and took off. Had a hell of a time yelling at a kid to get my gun back.
Wrong street , wrong numbers, no id check.
Fantastic job done by the driver.

We wanted too, as ours usual UPS Gal comes every week, but they changed drivers for the holiday and starting about 2 weeks or so before, we stopped having our regular UPS Gal delivering to us.

We were sort of bummed as we wanted to tip her.

Back in the mid 1980s I ordered 5 CASES (5,000 rounds per) of Remington Blue Label match 22LR ammo. I was working out behind the house when I heard the distinctive sound of the UPS Brown truck brakes. Before I got to the front of the house I heard crathump, crathump. I saw this stuff being hurdled from somewhere up in the truck out onto the pavement of the street in front of my house. The driver and I had some hot words and he ended up leaving it. But I had more alibis with that stuff than anything I've EVER fired. I ended up taking it to a gun show and selling it. I told the guy what happened. He said he didn't care.

The people we have now are pretty straight up. I usually get 1 of 3 people that deliver in our neighborhood.

I get a kick out of watching the ups guy delivering 32 lbs of gun powder with the explosive label on it. He looks like he's sweating bullets the whole time.

As usual, one bad apple messes it up for everyone else. Guy probably thought that BHO was supposed to get him one so he took it.
