I bought because it's marketed as a versatile powder, since Varget and 4350 varieties are scarce, for loading 223 Rem, 6.5CM and 30-06. I haven't had to use it, yet. Hopefully it will be as versatile, as Vihtavuori claims. I've bough a variety of powder, over the past six months, just because it's scarce.

Is it temperature sensitive?

From research, I'd imagine it does have some temp sensitivity. I bought it mainly for hunting loads, so NW Louisiana heat will be over, by then.
