Dems ban guns in Capitol and the legislative building effective tonight. Citing safety concerns over upcoming rally January 20th.

This includes lawmakers as a Republican senator carries.

I’m from AZ but....

This is literally the reason we have our 2A. It’s a public place and WE THE PEOPLE own that building. They are OUR servants. Suck it up or move the fuck out of OUR BUILDING!

Yup. Building was payed for by the taxpayers and the whole circus is financed by them. Lights, heat, maintenance, and let's not forget the wages of these clowns.

I think there is a way to de-fund that circus by withholding payment of property taxes to the last minute - just before a court orders foreclosure. From my 'accidental' experience in another state that process takes well over a year and if you pay before lawyers get involved, all you lost is some money for interest and fines.

Every state budgets for a certain percentage of late payments but nobody expects over 50% delinquency. Throwing that curve ball may be worth the interest and fines.

No taxation without representation would mean in VA: "If you don't represent the people's desire to maintain our rights, we don't pay the bills for the fucking handouts you buy your votes with. Send the bill to Bloomturd who instigated the whole brew ha ha".

So tar and feathers are still on the menu?
I think tarring and feathering one of their cars or one of their private mailboxes would be a good symbolic reminder to listen to the will of The People instead of deriving royal authority from a slim majority gained against a lazy/incompetent opposition via skillful gerrymandering and votes from dead people, illegal aliens, etc.

It does not affect the grounds around Capital Square. However, there is a bill introduced to do so but it will not be passed and signed in time to be effect by Jan 20th.

The building ban was set up by the House rules committee not by a vote of the entire legislature.

Virginia has its own version of Pelosi now with House Speaker Filler-Corn. The dems will get drunk with their new found power and more crazy shit will be passed.

After the vote don't they eventually have to leave to go home. Common sense pressures on these politicians will not only make them quit but they will leave the State. When they take yours rights away you must take something away from them, its only fair right. Politicians are public servants to The People and the Constitution instructs us to remove them by any means when they stop working for The People. This is our duty to protect our Constitution if we want liberty. The politicians are not the law and don't have power over The People, The People are the law The People are the Powers to be.

Here's another gem I gleaned out of news reports in the last 24 hours. No wonder politicians are swamp dwellers.

"Virginia's Constitution blocks lawmakers from being arrested during legislative sessions except for egregious crimes, and Pike said Capitol Police will not arrest any lawmakers who violate the gun ban."

So you are saying there will not be any "security" there?

R

That’s precisely what I’m saying. Expose them as they are, powerless cowards who THINK they can lord over you. Get them fired. Ruin their businesses. Follow them home. Scare their families. Scare their neighbors. Help THEM understand the PEOPLE wield the power.

Dox them. Publish their personal emails, business emails, personal phone numbers, wives phone numbers. Let them feel the consequences of their bullshit.

Or die quietly like good sheep.

I've got an idea for you.
Is there any law preventing you carrying this:

And this:

Ain't a hair on your ass if you don't go armed with guerilla snot and feather pillows.

They just updated the ban too. Originally, it was for everyone in the building, but after "discussion", they decided that it will be too much of a hassle to make the legislators go through the metal detectors, so now the ban does not apply to them, just us common people.

Like animal farm, some animals are more equal than others...

Animal Farm should be required reading for todays generation in school, then required to re-read it for congress and senate members b/c those fuckers obviously forgot it or didnt read it at all. I went to private school and was required to read it and write a long ass book report on it. Glad i did.
