When sportsmans guide had $20 off of a $100 order a couple weeks ago I purchased one of these in ACU along with a box of ammo to get it over $100.

My Take:
I have never been a fan of the ACU pattern when its clean..but I dont mind it once it gets dirty and a little worn. However I really dont have any plans to be dragging this around...I just wanted a soft case that would hold 2 rifles and whatever gear I might take with me shooting that day. Yes, this case is made in China..there was a tag below the Voodoo Tactial swatch on the inside but I ripped it off. I know several people wont even consider this case for that reason...Id happily buy an Eagle if I had no intentions of buying ammo or better glass and I am compromising here. Sorry i dont have a scale to get you guys a weight on it but its definately lighter than my AR. The zippers do not have YKK pulls on them but appear to be of a durable and similar design to YKK. There was not an included external cover for the end of the bag to protect it while being dragged but there is a padded inner pocket to help protect the muzzle of your rifle. I forgot to pull the backpack straps out and take a picture...I will post a picture if someone wants to see them. Think that about wraps it up...let me know if you have any other questions...I'll try and get a weight on it.

Re: Voodoo Tactical Drag Bag Pics

I have this drag bag in OD green. It's long enough to hold my Remington 700 with the 26" barrel. It seems durable and has a good amount of storage space. The problem I have with it is the straps that hold the rifle in place. They continually loosen up and my rifle starts to move around.

Same with mine. And when you try and cinch them down, the buckles pop apart. I am going to try and change them and see if it helps. Although for 100 bucks, its still a decent bag.

I don’t have the Voodoo bag but comparing the pictures above to my midway bag I would say it’s all most identical, minor differences.

The midway bag is ok, but having used it several times now I have found a few issues in the design, layout and quality control. I would never pay full price for one and if shipping was not so much I would exchange it for another Midwayusa pro series tactical rifle case.

Re: Voodoo Tactical Drag Bag Pics

I don't think the center divider is removable, at least it doesn't appear to be on mine. I only use it to carry one rifle too but I prefer to leave the center divider there as extra padding when I'm putting it in the car, on the bench, etc.
