Looking for a couple of Vudoo 10 or 12 round aluminum magazines..... They've been on backorder for a long while. Any have any or know of any for sale anywhere? Thanks.

I bought one aluminum 15rd mag - only because our 22RF precision rifle match director was designing stages that made it advantageous to have at least one magazine with more capacity. I put it on the shelf when I finally got it several months ago, and haven't even tried it in any of my V-22s to see if it feeds OK. Looking forward to trying it in a match next spring...if the frickin' covid-19 problems have decreased in severity to the point where we have matches to shoot by then.

FYI - i have one of the first ones from VGWs with a black follower, the ammo didn't align well in it so I rarely used, never in a match. Last match i noticed someone running the 15rnd ones with a red follower and we talked. I guess he called VGW and was able to acquire the updated one.
I called as well and was sent a red follower and a "newer" magazine compare it to my older one.

The follower seemed to fix the issue.

I have also noticed my aluminum 12 round magazines don't feed as nice as my plastics mags. I inspected some rounds that were cycled, and I saw some scrapping on the lead and brass. Is this what you were experiencing? Maybe I need to change the followers to the red ones?

I experienced issue with the rounds not being angled up thus not feeding, one thing I learned is to ensure the ammo flip flops in the magazine - I'll take picture of that little bit later unless you know what I mean.

The new follower did remedy some of the issue.

Additionally, i noticed the guy i talked to that he "filed" little bit in a angle off of the front of the magazine where the tip of the top bullet is located, preventing the tip hitting the squared off magazine.

But yeah, you can call VGW and they'll send you a red follower to try.

I'll take pictures and upload them when I get home.

Thanks. I would like to see the pics.

Please see attached.

This is the 1st gen magazine I had so i did little bit of filing up top where the bullet feeds and along the "window" so it fits in the XLR Envy Pro magwell.

Notice how the rounds are uneven/zig zag inside the magazine.
