Re: VX3 long range have some confuse

You think you're confused?!
If you could put up a pic it might help here, not sure what you're asking but the side focus is just to focus parallax, doesn't matter what number it's on.The eyepiece is the power range, you adjust it to whatever magnification you want...yds/m doesn't make one damn bit of difference just zoom it in to whatever you want.Ignore the numbers just mount it and shoot the damn thing!

Re: VX3 long range have some confuse

First try reading the instruction booklet/s that come with the scope...

"Selected VX-3 scopes have a built-in range estimator. This system uses the Duplex® portion of the reticle in combination with an additional set of numbers on the power selector ring. (Also see the Leupold Range Estimating Reticle Instructions for other reticle types.) In scopes with this feature the space between the tip of the thicker post of the Duplex reticle and the center of the reticle covers 16 inches at 200 yards (the size of a Whitetail buck from backbone to brisket).

NOTE: The Duplex reticle was designed to estimate ranges based on the backbone to brisket dimension of a Whitetail buck. The distance of other game with a body dimension that is known to be 16 inches (or 32 inches if the measurement is taken from post to post instead of post to crosshair) may certainly be estimated. It is necessary to know the approximate physical size of your target whenever you estimate range."

VX3 Side Parallax Adjustment just like this no mark number,so I confuse if I shoot 75yard or 50yard ,the sf turn to which mark?
