I can buy W760 locally, not much else, in that burn rate. Using Hornady 162AMax, 1-400yds for now. Have shot some, accuracy is coming around. Why don't others use it? Thanks. Ron
H414/W760 is a ball powder and as a rule of thumb, double-base ball powders are more temperature sensitive than single-base extruded. However progress is being made to make ball powders more temperature stable, so it not a big an issue as it once was believed to be.
W760/H414 is all I use in my wife's 7-08. 47 to 48gr behind a 140gr hunting type bullet yeilds good velocity and 1/2 or less MOA consistently when we do our part.
It go bang! Guess I will be ok, as long as I deal with extreme temp issues. Sure meters well, beats weighing every charge of kernel powder. Got a pretty good group with it a few days ago.
Thanks for the tips. Ron.
