I recieved this build back a couple months ago but just got finally around to posting pics:

Thanks to the Warner's (Warner Tool Co.) they make a beautiful rifle.

I just got some of the new Hornady 225gr. BTHP's yesterday. Im going to try them with H-1000 or Retumbo first.

I hear Mr Warner builds a fine rifle. Nice looking rig.

How do you find that Jackson match trigger? I used to run one but found the shoe would keep working itself loose after a while.

Any 300WM is a good rifle

, but that one is beautiful... very nice.

Looking forward to the range report... especially on those 225's. Thanks for sharing..

If you read my whole post. I said I have not had time and crappy (snow) weather. I cant wait to get this rifle broken in!

I will shoot some Federal FGMM 190gr. and some Black Hills 190gr. to get it sighted in and then I will go to the 208gr. A-MAX, 225gr. Hornady BTHP, 220gr. SMK Reloads. Cant Wait!!

I will post the range reports with the chrono results also.

Re: Warner Tool .300WM Build *COMPLETE w/ PICS

I measured some of the new 225gr. Hornady bullets compared to the 220gr. SMK (measured 10 bullets and took an average):

<span style="text-decoration: underline">220gr. Sierra Matchking</span>
Ogive Length: .900"
OAL: 1.490"

<span style="text-decoration: underline">225gr. Hornady BTHP</span>
Ogive Length: .900"
OAL: 1.580"

It looks like the 220gr. SMK Load data will work pretty good for a starting point for the 225gr. Hornady BTHP if you reload.

The guys @ Warner Tool had ordered the trigger for me but I seen them in stock at Bauer arms the last time I checked.

So how did those 225grainers shoot?????

Re: Warner Tool .300WM Build *COMPLETE w/ PICS

I will post all data of the 225gr. Hornady BTHP bullets I shot I while back in the next 3 days (im out of town and dont have the data on me)
Stay Tuned!

I have the data with H-1000 and Retumbo along with some other data. The 208gr. A-MAX's are in in love with this rifle!

The guys at Warner Tool sure know how to make an accurate rifle. The farthest range i was able to get to so far was 600yrds. It held MOA no problem out that far. I cant wait to stretch it out to 1000yrds+ and see what it can really do.

It took me 11.5 MOA to get out to 600yrds with Factory Black Hills and FGMM 190gr. SMK's.

The wieght of the rifle (17lbs loaded) and the Badger FTE brake surprised the hell out of me of how much it tamed the recoil but the guys shooting next to me where kinda pissed!...LOUD!

Re: Warner Tool .300WM Build *COMPLETE w/ PICS

Really interested to see what you come up with on the 225gr BTHP. I have a few of these that I want to try and am interested to see what results others are getting with them. I hope ends up liking Retumbo so I can run the same powder as in my other magnums.
