Warner Tool Rifle Builds.

I am currently having a .300WM being built by Warner Tool.

McMillan A-5 Stock, Bartlein 26" MTU 1-10 twist bbl, Badger FTE brake, Badger M5 bottom metal, AI mags, CG trigger, Trued Rem700 L/A + Bolt, Surgeon KMW bolt knob, Atlas bipod, All metal being Coated in Birdsong.

When talking to Warner Tool on the phone they said they didnt have any pics of their current builds they could email me.

Friend of mine has one. But it looks disgusting. Shoots like a laser- thats what matters. Even if I could post a photo, it would not inspire you. It was a budget build, so no fancy paint. Good people though.

here is one of mine. 7 WSM for F-Class use.

Here is another one of mine. 338 LM Improved.

the 7WSM is a HAMMER; I've not shot the 338 yet, but I can't imagine it will shoot any worse than the 7WSM.

My brother has one from ALan too, chambered in .284 WInchester. Her recently got his rating upgrade for the NRA ... he is shooting "Master" now...

Enough said.

Very NICE rifles!


I almost went with the .338LM but I went with the .300WM instead.

I cant decide on a an Optic, im torn between the Vortex Razor 20x or a NightForce 22x. I have a NightForce already on another build and am very happy with it so Im most likely going to go with another NF.

Yes they are the Barnard Action. The "P" is top for the 7WSM, the "PL" for teh 338 Improved, and I have the CHEY in my gun safe for the Cheytac based cases.

Nice rifles Jeff, at one time you were working with, Melonite (nitrocarburizing)or something simular, in one of your 7mm tac rifles. How did that work out and are you going to have either of these rifles done?

I have a beautiful 6.5 x 284 that was built by Warner Tool. If you can tell me the secret to posting pictures, I will post a picture of the gun. I read the FAQ but can't imagine that the only way to post a picture is off site.

I am deciding between Joe Starnes, Warner Tool, Lawton Machine, or Kirby Allen to build a new .338LM for me. Any recommendations?? Thanks.
