interesting thought, but hard to see it as practicalTime for the US to split itself up. It's like a feuding married couple now - neither party/faction can tolerate the other party(s) and will not compromise, listen, nor have an open discussion. We need a separation period followed by a full on divorce.
Before things get really weird if they aren't already. All in favor of secession raise yer hands.....

They would need Constitutional Ammendment. Strong current to swim against.
What worries me though is that some states are on their own adopting resolutions that they will pledge their electors to whomever wins the popular vote regardless of the internal state vote.
So if your state votes for Candidate A but Candidate B wins the popular vote all electors will go to Candidate B will of the state voters be damned.
Some states already have this on the books as of 2016.
I understand that if enough states adopt it than it becomes Constitutional.
Possible- yes. But it would take a Constitutional Amendment. Its not something she can snap her fingers and get done.
This is the party that violates the constitution on a daily basis.Possible- yes. But it would take a Constitutional Amendment. Its not something she can snap her fingers and get done.
Im thinking Obama created such an internal spy network that he has dirt on just about everybody.
They all seem to work contra to either the Constitution or good governance.
If any f them had any courage they would spill the beans.
It doesn't make sense for Wisconsin. Both sides of the legislature are now controlled by republicans. The map shows 'legislation pending' in Wisconsin. There is no chance of that passing any time soon here.WRONG!!!
There is a back door and this take-over is closer than you think:
