I recall as a kid NPR being more unbiased

Now, it’s not CNN, but its pretty left

Today they were gum flapping about the awesome case going to SCOTUS, where NY might have been the cause for some regaining of rights when they lose the case.

NPR kept calling it having a “pistol permit” a “privilege”….it’s a fucking right

They also kept saying where will the court look for guidance, even mentioned English law, well if we really liked that shit we wouldn’t have shot a bunch of them in the fucking face and kicked the English out, but anyways, NOT ONE MENTION of the federalist papers.

I know, cool story bro

took a hard left around the time when communist-light mouthpiece Juan Williams was let go because he wasnt communist enough.

but yes, NPR has always been about big government, democrats are the only way, and Trump is the devil.

Yeah, they've always been to the left but not so far. I remember years ago when NPR first started a couple of the stations got bombed.

KPFT - Wikipedia

To be fair, NPR was quoting language of the justices that said that limiting permits amounts to guns being a privilege rather than a right. And for the record, a permit in NYC (the basis of this case and the story is often referred to as a pistol permit.

That said, NPR has always been left of center. Have you listened to “wait wait don’t tell me?” Science Friday, On The Media, Marketplace, and Cartalk (rip) all have their place though… the rest, meh.

It’s deuschbag, government propaganda that they use your own money to pay for. NPR is an obscenity that would not survive if it weren’t for government funding. The whole “community funded” trope is a lie. All the money goes to WGBU and WAMH, which produce all their communist content. Whenever funding was threatened they trotted out APRN and Big Bird, which was such a profit center they couldn’t keep their hands off it. Like all communism it is a rolling failure kept going on the backs of those it seeks to impoverish and enslave.

It’s also funny, they get government money and are always crying for people to give them their cars, cash, inheritance etc

The local rock and hip hop stations don’t get gov money like NPR and they are doing just fine without begging for my hard earned money.

In fairness, they sell a lot of outside advertising to get over. The gub'mint only gives NPR a portion of their overhead.

I wish the government would give them zero. It’s just a left wing propaganda mouth piece. I haven’t listened to NPR in years because it just became so overwhelmingly left wing that I just couldn’t take it.

I like listening to it, it’s good to listen to the sales pitch of the enemy, makes it easier to understand those who take the state as their lord and savior
