I'm going to purchase a Casio PAW2000 pretty soon, but don't like the plastic band with std. clasp. Casio doesn't offer any optional bands other than the titanium. What I want would be a nylon/cloth band. Anyone know where to get something like that which would fit a watch that big?

Check out CountyComm for their adapters that allow you to fit a NATO style watchband:

Thanks. I have seen one that was wider than the watch was (big Suunto) worn by a diver. But didn't get a chance to ask about it. Thats more what I'm looking for.

For the record, Maratac makes the best straps bar none out of the whole gambit of strap makers. Zulu and NATO G-10's are actual styles of straps made by many different manufactures. NATO straps or G-10 are named such after the G-10 requisition form filled out by the Brits to the MOD for watch straps. The Zulu is a thicker version with larger rings, and come in two versions; 2 buckle and 4 buckle. Maratac also makes the bands for several vendors including Kobold Watches, and TAD gear.

As a side note, Maratac is branded through Countycomm. They also make some pretty good web gear, and are fellow crabs in the LEO community.

+1 on Maratac and Countycomm. Get a couple when you order, they will start to stink after long wear. They are easy to change out also, might want to switch up the color from time to time.

A good remedy for the stink is to put them in the dishwasher, or to rub them down with Dawn and let them sit in hot water for about an hour.
