OK, I tried the "search" thing and got nothing, I picked up 8 # of each at an estate sale, I'm sure I can find data to use one or the other for loading .224-55's & .308 -147's for the grand children and their parents to "plink" with.
My question is, is anyone using these powders with the heavy[. 224 69 +] & [.308- 155+]

Thank you

I run 34.0-36.0g of WC844 in a 308 behind a 175g lead bullet for lower recoil plinking. It functions both AR10s just fine.
You have to make your own data with these surplus powders. Lot to lot variation in burn rate does exist so each lot should be treated like a new powder. Treat the WC844 like H335. Use the H335 data and reduce the starting load by 10% and work up cautiously.
Treat the WC846 like BL(C)2 and do the same.

Google up TM-43-0001-27

Its an Army Tech Manual for Army Ammunition Sheets Small Caliber Ammunition
in short it has the Load data for wc 844 and 846
It calls for 26.1 gr of Wc 844 for a 62 gr projectile (SS 109 Penetrator) Chamber Pressure 55,000 PSI, Vel 3025 FPS
This Info can be found in Chp 10-19
