We are not immune from crazy here.

When I was working at 7-Eleven, everyone was advised to be on the lookout for a 50-something year old lady who would walk into every store in the neighborhood, and if there are no "Wet Floor" signs, she would pretend to slip, fall and wrench her back. She would always then beg for an ambulance to be called, claiming "too much pain" to get up. Evidently, a lawsuit would come from her after the "incident".

Problem is, the cunt had pulled this antic off so many times that she has become something of a meme in the area. All the EMT's and firefighters who stop for coffee at our joint in the early morning and overnight would joke with us about her and tell us what the heck she had been up to now.

Nevertheless though, she was the cause of every business in the region switching to new and updated camera systems. As one of the ASM's, I always made sure everybody on my crew had yellow signs displayed at all times in the store, regardless of the floor being wet or dry. I never worked the day shift but I was told that she tried her little stunt TWICE at our place, over a month period. Never worked, because someone recognized her immediately and called her the fuck out :ROFLMAO:
