I saw one of these in the local gunrack. They are rare over here so I don't know anyone with any experience of these rifles, what sort of accuracy is it capable of with good handloads?

Accumarks are capable of fine accuracy for a factory rifle. I have a few of them and all shoot 3/4 MOA or better. One is much better and seems to think it's a custom the way it shoots. The factory triggers are superb with a couple easy adjustments they will dial down to 1 to 1 1/2 pounds. I run all mine right at 15 ounces. Accumarks shoot best with the lug bedded tight. The recoil lug needs supported with epoxy or it stresses the action when tightened down. It's measurable with a dial indicator.
