i just got one chambered in 223. i am using the nikon buckmaster 6-18x40....i am starting to get into long range shooting.. anything bad about this rifle... i dont reload yet whats the best factory ammo to shoot..i have been shooting remington umc 55gr they don't seem to hold the patterns i want

There are many good factory loads out there for a 223. The problem is that your compeating with all the AR guys on ammo but the good part is that most of them want the cheep shit. Black hills makes some very good ammo for 223 as does just about everyone else. You really need to look around and see whats avalible.
