Rifle Scopes Weaver 6-24x50 Classic Extreme Riflescope Illuminated German #4 Reticle Matte

Anyone have or used one of these? Are they an OK scope to a bolt action 223 for playing/learning short to medium range shooting, ie100-750yrd. Hate to say it, but don't have alot of money to spend on this one, due to the one that is being built at LRI now!!


What about Weaver Kaspa models also?

I don't have the 6-24x50, but I have a lower power classic extreme on my AR and it is built like a tank, clear and does what it was meant to do. No complaints whatsoever. (note: some think they may be a bit heavy, but I've never felt that an issue)

I have the 2.5x10 and 4x16 and I think these scopes are a great deal for the price. Good glass.
