I've tried searching, but there isn't very much information on it, so I thought I'd ask, what experience do the wise people of Sniper's Hide have with Weaver's warranty? I just want experiences, since I know their warranty terms by reading online (though the non-transferability of their warranties has been challenged several times on other websites, general consensus from what I've read is that it is transferable, but I don't want to get into this).

Not sure of what you are asking, are you asking about the efficiency and Weavers willingness to repair their scopes or if the warranty is indeed transferable (their legal verbiage clearly states original owner).
I can tell you my one experience with Weaver is I had my turret o-rings dryrot, I emailed them monday, there responded tue parts arrived on Fri.
Have not had a situation where the scope was required to send in for repair though.

I'm simply asking for peoples experiences with weavers warranty, since I couldn't really find many posts of peoples experiences with them. Sounds like they helped you promptly.

Had lots of weaver scopes on a wide range of calibers. Never had a problem. love me some weaver. Hope it all works out for you. Never Heard any complaints though.

Had a Five Star years ago, shipped it to them, they fixed, and sent it back no charge. Just a note, It was my fault the scope was FU, but they fixed it, now that was years ago.

Sounds good, I know that they company has changed hands quite a lot in the past couple years, but I hear the company that currently owns weaver is great with warranties, so I'm not worried about their warranty anymore, as far as I'm concerned they're GTG.

We have only been selling the Tactical line. Weaver make a nice scope Tactical scope our customers have not hand any issues so fair.
