Finally bit the bullet and got what I consider to be a nice optic. I just ordered a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 SFP MRAD. FFP would've been a nice option, but not for $150. I've taken (and am still currently taking) higher level mathematics courses and I figure if I can't do the quick simple math in my head and make the adjustments, maybe I should take a look in the mirror. Going to put it on my M24 replica Remington 700, and shoot from 400-600 yards mainly. Occasionally breaking 800. Maybe one day be proficient enough to hit 1000 but that is pretty far away. Anyways, I just wanted to share the news because I'm pretty excited. Big upgrade from my Vortex Crossfire 6-24x50. I am curious to see how big a difference will be noticed.

I can't speak to the quality of the Crossfire but I have two of the Vipers that are before the PSTs. Both Vipers are excellent scopes for the money and from what I read the PSTs are better yet. I'm sure you will be pleased and if there is a problem there is no better CS than that of Vortex.

Aren't those made by seekins for vortex?
