Part of the problem, as mentioned, is the Koch brothers and other ultra rich Republicans who value their cheap labor above all else. Just in case you thought the problem was just Democrats/liberals. Nope, you can blame Republican business assholes too. According to these Republican mega-donors, without illegal Mexicans, no fruits will get picked, no one will staff restaurants, no landscaping will get done, and no one will clean bathrooms. What they should say is that they don't want to pay a real living wage to Americans to do these jobs.

So only hope now is a time limit to have the "families" adjudicated and removed in an expedited manner.

....but you can bet your ass some judge will say any deadline is unlawful and crush it which will trigger the 1997 ruling and require that after 20 days they be released into the country.

Exactly correct. We are being squeezed from all sides, just to name a few.
