So what you're saying is that like most of us you have ZERO knowledge of the incident,YET you feel qualified to make some sort of assessment as to what took place and WHY it took place? Riiiight!

Yes because that is what cops do. "Dump a few mags" into unknown threats, JUST to be sure. All day, everyday dude. Guess now you know why you can't get a fair deal on ammo.

Really? Where exactly do you see that mentality today in American law enforcement and more importantly what agencies have policies that support this type of mentality? Please feel free to provide links, sources, references to back your claims because I'm dying to know of any PD/SO that encourages its members to kill "innocent people" indiscriminately and at will.
klrb929 rants,
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">I think law enforcement has gotten way way to militaristic recently...and events where innocent civilians getting waxed are getting more common and will continue to do so
</div></div>
You think? What exactly did you see, experience or hear first hand that got that little rusty gear in your head turning enough to the point that it was able to form a thought? Again, please feel free to provide us with instances from verifiable sources as to what you speak of. Especially those "kill em all" polices.
Now, I'm not saying that shit don't happen because it does. Do innocent people get killed? Yes, they do, policing is not a pretty profession and cops ARE human who make mistakes. Some of us are outright bad, corrupt and crooked but that only accounts for a tiny fraction. Most of us are hardworking, believe in what we do and want to provide for our families in an honest way.
Are cops looking to start their day off by racking up their body counts? Probably not. Cover up? In this day and age, in an agency as big as LVMPD, I highly doubt it. Their sheriff seems like he's up for re-election by the looks of all of the campaign posters. Do you honestly think that he is going to put that in jeopardy for a trio of "under trained personnel"? Highly doubtful. Stuff like that NORMALLY happens only in the movies.
Give this thing time. We don't have all the facts and there are a lot of pieces missing to the puzzle. At the end of the day, when those videos come out, we'll know the truth. Until then, give the conspiracy theories a rest.
Prayers for all involved.
