Do the custom 3D mapping and send it in. They will recommend the best boot based on your foot and then make the insoles for you and the boot.

Other than that you will just be guessing what will work with your foot....if you have to guess start with Scarpa or Zamberlan

The best hiking boot is a shoe. Serious hikers typically wear trail runners, or something similar. I personally like Merrell’s

I've got the Pilgrim GTX for summer months and light hiking and the Utah Top GTX for snow season and long days in the mountains.

Really like the Pilgrim boot for everyday dog walks and just incredibly comfortable boots.
