What 6BR bullets, etc.

For a PRS/NRL style 6BR match gun, what are you having good luck with?

2800-2850ish give or take

1:7 twist or sometimes 1:7.5

that seems to be the go to for most

6mm BR

Running 26” Stuteville 1-7.5 twist barrel. Planning on Varget with CCI 450s. Looking for some starting loads for 107 SMKs and 105 Nosler RDFs. Any helps appreciated. I’ve tried searching but not seeing a lot on 6br loads so I figured I start a thread. Thanks for any help.

my H4895 load was 29.9gr. I see a lot in that 29.5-29.9gr range. Varget is by far the most popular powder choice for any BR and BR variant cartridge

So I spun up a Bart 1:8. Decided to finish it at 28”, thinking I may get 50 or so fps more. (I can always take a couple inches off, if it’s took hard to get in/out of barricades. Since I don’t shoot suppressed, I should be fine.

Upon initial break in, I threw 30.1g of varget behind a 105 hybrid at .030” jump.

Here’s the 1st 11 rounds out of the barrel:

Since I know it’s gonna speed up a bit, I figured I run that load for the next local match, then play with it.

Verified zero and trued at 500 yesterday.

100y -5 rounds

513y- 5 rounds (mirage was high with 3mph L-R wind)
