People around me are saying to avoid shopping on the 1st of the month. It is to let the food stamp and welfare poors shop first. WTF? My essential working ass is suppose to wait for their non working non essential ass to go first?

They should receive a preplanned food supply. They get what we give them. They don't like it....get a job and buy what you want.
That doesn't sound unreasonable, but I don't think shopping on the 1st is a good idea there will be some pranksters running around coughing on people or produce.
Talk about very bad idea. With people on edge, that type of prank could be a once in a lifetime event.
Teenagers are dumb though what are people going to really do when one of them with a group of their friends wants to pull an April fools joke on people.
If anybody lives near VA or its surrounding states where there are Sheetz gas stations, I just got an email today saying that they are providing a free meal to children once per day. All the adult has to do is come in with the child and the child gets a sandwich, a bag of chips, and a drink for free. They said they are doing that until supplies run out. Spread that word around to all those poors (like me, I'm a poor on a website where the name of the game is excessively expensive toys) 
The grocery store I shop at typically has a lot of severely disabled and retarded people shopping on the first with their handlers. Blind people, down syndrome etc. It's when they get their social security checks. I get the idea behind just letting them have a day at the store. I'm talking people who can't even shop on their own. Has to be much harder getting around and social distancing.
If we are all being the responsible preppers that we should all be on here then we should be able to go months without grocery shopping if we are doing it right!

Great idea. I think the worthless fucks eat better than I do at times. I hate standing in line behind some of them watching some of the shit they pull out of the cart.
Right on, The wifey and I, were stocked-up for at least 6-7 weeks. Have been trying to play by the rules, for the last 3 weeks. Got so bored, I started plinking arrows in the backyard for some exercise and to get my skills back up to speed, for when I run out of buullliits, of course. LoLIf we are all being the responsible preppers that we should all be on here then we should be able to go months without grocery shopping if we are doing it right!

Went to Wally World tonight on the way home after work (1230a)...closed...hours now 700a - 830p now here in SC.

20 years of Army fun led me to stay away from any place on the 1-3rd of the month. That is real PTSD.

We could just set up stores for welfare recipients with the basics to live. All generic everything. That would save billions and we could feel better about going to work. They can have 2 choices....take it...mor leave it
