So I want to attemept to make my own Coolfire trainer . I have been patient for approximately two years waiting for them to manufature one for my XDM 5.25 Competition but still nada . So I'm wondering if it's legal to machine a pistol barrel and turn it into a CO2 charged dry fire barrel .
And no I'm not gonna go buy a 1911 , and tweak it out so that I can purchase a Coolfire made for 1911s .

I bought the cool fire trainer this winter for my glock 21. It's going back to them because it won't take enough charge/won't cycle for more than 5 shots. I've been through all the trouble shooting in their manual. Frustrating.

I looked at the WE XDM 40 . I talked to Evike to see if I could get fiber optic front sights but they said no . Also I would like to muacle memory my triggers weight and reset .

Seeing as how barrels aren't firearms, I don't think there's any legal issues there whatsoever. You can literally buy them bitches shipped straight to your door, why couldn't you mfg/modify one?
