Ok folks let’s just have some fun. I am watching a discussion develop on the shotgun forum and it brought to mind a thought. Since this is snipershide.com we will limit equipment to survival, personal defense, SHTF, combat and battle preparedness competitions or drills. If you had to kill something for food any of these tools could get the job done. You don’t know what situation you may find yourself in so here is the question. You are limited to five weapons, one from each category and a pack; (caliber, barrel length, configuration, set up, equipment, optics, ammo, brand etc.)The categories are; shotgun, sniper rifle, battle rifle, handgun, knife and pack. What are you going with?
 
Shotgun: Remington V3 Tactical/Competiton 12 ga. straight stock, rifle style sights, with a sure fire light.
Sniper rifle: M40 in adjustable KRG stock in 308 with S&B PM II 3-12, badger ordnance 20 moa rail and rings, night vision rail and Harris bipod
Battle Rifle: AR 15 556 10.5 barrel, suppressed with Holosun red dot, 45 degree battle sights, two point vicker’s sling, and light.
Handgun: Glock 19x
Knife: Tops Operator 7
Pack: Eberlestock G4 operator

Guys just for fun. If this has already been done before I apologize. No wrong answers. This is just pure entertainment with the added bonus of seeing what floats to the top. If you want to add a pic of your favorite whatever go ahead. It entertains me to see some of you guys get your diapers all soiled up because someone didn’t choose your favorite whatever gear!🤣 It is all personal preference. Just have fun with it.😁 And beware the man with one gun!

I probably won’t but this is a best options question. If you only had? If I did the M24 would be in the pack the pistol and knife on my duty belt, pack belt or carrier, the AR across my chest and the shotgun in my Hand with shell holder attached. Extra mags and ammo on belt, in pack or on a plate carrier. In most situations you would choose one of the first three depending on the assignment. I was just asking to see what people would chose if limited to one of each. Not a debate just curiosity.

In actuality it is not all that heavy. Less than 100 lbs. your 30 cal machine gun guys are carrying more but I get your point. Don’t take it to seriously. The pics are great!🤣
 
hahaha, i'll play for fun.

shotgun, something that is too expensive and/or illegal here, with something too expensive on top.
sniper rifle, something too expensive with a scope i can't afford, probably in 6.5manbun, so my daughter can shoot it.
battle rifle, who am i kidding? i wouldn't run if a tsunami was coming.
handgun, something off roster here, so the caliber and optic are moot questions.
knife, kukri

Anyway, my personal choices just for fun, as archaic as they might be?
Shotgun: Ithaca 37 SBS/AOW
Sniper rifle: M40, .303 lookalike of a L42A1, or this 1903A3 project I have in mind. Maybe a pre-64 Win 70 in .300 H&H.
Battle rifle: M14 or FAL, scoped
Pistol: Oldschool MEU(SOC) or just a plain-jane GI M1911.
Knife: Randall Model 14. I think. Their website seems to be fucked up or else I'd check.

Why these? Because if shit hits the fan or whatever I might as well die with stuff I like. But I'm not carrying all of that on my person all at once. One of the long guns, pistol, and knife at most.

No didn’t know that! To be honest with you I quit listening to it all. Politicians, celebrities and media are all full of crap I don’t care which side their on. You really don’t know who to believe. Skim about three different papers every morning to stay on top of the current BS but none of what I read comes from a celebrity. I watch them for entertainment but I don’t read or listen to them for substance or to make life choices. They just don’t do anything for me. But, again, the pick is cool!🙃

I’m running a light high speed reconnaissance setup with these. Just these and a speedo. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast and when people see my ass they won’t want none. Viewer discretion is advised.
