Just curious what other hobbies folks on here have. In addition to guns I also drag race with my younger brother. I am new to posting pics but will give it a shot, here are 3 of our cars. I also have other normal guy hobbies like fishing, hunting, barbequing, raising hell at the lake, etc.....

The speakers to my audio system. The two boxes on the outside are 7'x3'x3' and do the bass. The multicell horns sitting on top do the mids and highs. Each one wieghs about 600 lbs. The smaller black boxes on the inside are twin 165 watt vacum tube amplifiers. This is the same stuff that sat behind movie theater screens in the 40's and 50's and in huge stadiums before the advent of transistors. This old stuff is higer maintainence but sounds a LOT better. I also have about 3000 albums and a fine vinyl playback system that will make you want to throw your CD player up against the wall.

For anyone interested the weaving in the middlle is an authentic Navajo pictorial, made in about 1910-1930

Making high quality wines from my apples, pears, and the pressings from various types of grapes. I am not much of a wine drinker, but I love the chemistry and attention to detail that is required to make good wine (and some really shitty wine too).

My 14 year old grand daughter. Light of my life, my buddy, my hunting partner. I never miss one of her volly ball or basket ball games.

heres a pic of us fishing. My brother is the one reeling in the fish (blue marlin), and I am the fat one holding him in the boat. Also a pic of one of the racecars launching and squashing the crap out of the back tire. I always love to see the big back tires wadded up and twisted on launch...

Knifemaking, reading history, some philosophy, and poetry, jujutsu, border collies, all things Scottish.

Edited to ad: Cooking...mostly because I like eating, and can't get the things I want cooked the way I like, so I had to figure out how to do it myself. Most food is just too bland. My wife says my taste buds are burned out, but I just like spicy food. I'm not a pepper freak, but do like spicy things. Tabasco is a very good starting point, and actually does enhance alot more food than most people think it will...and does so without making it too spicy (if you do it right).

Rubicon Trail in 2009. Don't really do much 4 wheeling any more. The CJ is just fun to drive around in the summer with no top or doors. Pretty much stick to shooting now. Although cooking/grilling/smoking beast has developed into kind of a hobby I guess.

Since shooting is a hobby I'm trying to pick up, I'll tell you the ones I already have (besides school and studying, which takes up most my time.)

Gaming. CoD, Red Dead Redemption, Fallout, whatever.

Collecting militaria type stuff. Here's my favorite (and oldest) piece I own.

I guess one of my hobbies would be trolling the PX to find the next toy I dont need. I have allot of time on my hands here in Iraq.....

And another one is trying to find a way to put more guns into my jeep when I go to the range.

Yes it does. Thats why that's a bleach stain. I'm not gonna wash a sheet over a few crumbs ether. They sweep off just fine.

Other than my gun/re-loading/shooting/hunting hobby it is classic muscle cars. I have a 69 Road Runner that I bought new and the wife has a 2010 Challenger R/T.

Reading, movies, hanging out with the wife and 18 month old son, deer hunting (bow or rifle), changing diapers (not my own), drinking wine (I'm not gay, I just like a good red wine), whiskey with buddies, chewing tocacco (I need to quit, especially now that my 18 month old pretends he's spitting when daddy spits), church, sushi, and obsessing over what gun/sight/accessory I need to buy next.

No, thats the track in San Antonio....same color blue buildings as HRP. We race in Houston pretty often, nice facility. We race all the tracks in Texas and some in LA, OK, NM, TN, NC, FL, AL, etc....

I love riding in general, but mostly sport touring. Had to sell my last bike since I'm in Iraq for a year, but I'll pick up something nice when I can again. I golf pretty often, play video games till my eyes hurt, spend time with the wife, and take care of my dinosaur puppies.

With a first semester of Anatomy & Phisiology I Biology, Enhanced Statistics and Algebra, English Compasition, World History I don't have time for much else these days. Just think, only three more years, and 10 months to go!

When I do get time though, my son Sam and I have a little something to work on

It's a 1954 Austin Healy 100-4 BN1. It had a 327 with a Muncie Rock Crusher 4 in it. WE have a short block 350LT1, and a Doug Nash Competition 5 Speed for it along with several catalogs. We have to cut the body panels off, remove the innner structure, and take it down to the frame. Frame needs to be media blasted, reinforced, front and rear ends replaced with updated stuff(mustang II maybe) then the motor rebuilt and everything put back together. I think this is what people call a hobby and wives call a money pit

Now that looks like a great project!

Lot of SCUBA divers here! I haven't been diving in about 4 1/2 years. Hoping to get my girlfriend into it in the next year or so.

Current hobbies include shooting pool (ranked 9 ball player & Master 8 ball player) and predator hunting. Wish I had time between work and family to spend more time on my other hobbies, too many interests and not enough time!

Cooking,eating,getting fat,surfing the internet,reading everything on the Hide-Living life through the adventures of others!!Decorating my mom's basement,raising show cats,collecting black frame glasses,writing poetry to my imaginary girlfriends,and making audition tapes hoping to be on Antique Roadshow
