what Bases for a 10/22

I am looking for opinions on a rail base for my 10/22. I have a 10/22 with a jewell trigger and a lilja barrel, I have a nikon 4-14 scope on order. All I need is the base

I like the <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">EGW 20 MOA Extended Picatinny Rail (10/22)</span></span> and the <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">Tactical Solutions 1-Piece Picatinny-Style 15 MOA Base</span></span>. The Tactical Solutions Rail is better machined and finished, but I like the 5 MOA cant advantage that the EGW has over the Tactical Solutions Rail.

The only thing I don't like about the EGW Extended Picatinny Rail is that extension sticks-out a little too far for use with some scopes. I actually shortened the front extension on mine because it interfered with the "flare" of the objective tube on several of my scopes.

I have both the Tac Sol and the EGW bases but unless you just want/need the addt'l 5MOA cant for max flexibility with your optics setup, I prefer the Tac Sol base because of its shorter overall length and the step it saves me in shortening the EGW base which I have had to do on the other projects I have used it for. IMO, the Tac Sol base also has an overall better fit/finish than the EGW.

I have the EGW and love it its a nice piece of metal. I really creep up on the scope so I like to be able to put the scope a lil more forward than most so I personaly like the extra length on the EGW
