Mazda seems to emphasize handling especially vs Honda Nissan other Asian mfrs. Did so before their affiliation with FoMoCo too. My 2025 CX 50 surprises me, how much better it handled than expected. Drove CX 30 and CX 5 also while testing. The 5 seemed a bit cushier, the 30 just smaller 50. But all had nice steering feel and handling. The normal aspirated gas engine is plenty boosty for me after 27 yrs of driving a 4 cyl Tacoma, wheezing up steep mtn passes in 3d gear and challenging snails for 0-60mph runs.
440 cubes, Edelbrock aluminum heads, TKX 5 speed manual, pretty ridiculous cam, pistol grip shifter, 3.55 with sure grip, 850 brawler carb, but soon to get a 6 pack setup.
Me and my brother rebuilt a 71 challenger RT 440 4 barrel. Miss that car.
6 pack set up is a bitch to tune! Helped on one many years ago. Was a badass set up tho
Charger442, that black offset/trim, vs chrome, is wicked. My kind of car. Aside from the general wickedness of that Charger anyway!

I love the slow car fast ethos. Every time I drive an actual fast car it's just a huge disappointment when I can't realistically use more than 50% of it's performance for more than 10 seconds at a time. Give me a car I can flog all day long without jail time.
My brother used to have whatever Porsche is the modern 911, but Cabriolet with removeable hardtop, AWD, 6spd manual. Little screamer. I drove it on some twisty roads, him in passenger seat, he says, "go on, get after it!" and I tell him, "too much juice on tap for my many years of driving slow cars, I'm intimidated!"
that's what im hearing but i bought someone's left over setup they didn't even use. already has promax metering plates, i have the jets set how i want and the power valve. i just need to do it.
kinda want to tune out a mild hesitation in the 850 though, i think its an accelerator pump adjustment issue I'm going to work on. might need to look into a new jet size .
I just looked at the 911 wiki page -- it was either 997 or 991 model, from the looks of things.
Targas from my youth driving (1970s/80s) had that wide Targa roof bar, which my brother's car did not have. But still could be a Targa I guess, I'm not up on 21st Century or even late 20th C cars, to my great shame!
Not a Targa, but this was my 991 C2S. Among other things, the headlights were different on the 997.
I used to know these little front end/rear end differences to identify 55-57 Chevy BelAirs, 67-69 Chevy Camaros and Pontiac Firebirds, same with 60s Mustangs. When cars went square, sharp and "aero" or "fuel saving" in the mid 70s I lost interest. Even as a rabid Mustang fan, owner, driver I did not like the 1971 and later Mustangs. Had a few friends with very nice '71s, one full race, one comparable to my '69 but with much nicer exterior and interior, great multilayer black + clear paint job, Centerline wheels, barely streetable tire choices (skinny ass front, chunkers at the back, cornered like crap).
My brother could tell you all the little details though and he would mock me for not remembering what model his was.

Has the American front spoiler ..he needs to switch to the European spoiler..about 2 inches lower and more pronounced. Looks do much better
That mirrored exhaust area is corny..it’s originally black louvred.

Just got the 96 Land Cruiser back from the shop. Had some minor repairs and mods needed to be done.
This one is a Black Special, only offered in 96. They offered black most of the model run, but this one has chrome accents throughout, making it a Black Special. The other thing unique to it that it has no factory roof rack, which is very uncommon for the US Spec Land Cruisers.
This one the previous owner put in a brand new OEM Short Block, and vapor honed all the other parts that were reused.
It has been de-flared, and I put 17" FJ Cruiser Steelies on it.

After you paid your money you could have the original speedo installed for big money.

I don't own a car at present. I started with a Camaro in the early 80s, but thereafter I went SUV all the way. My last was a Toyota 4-Runner Gen 3 V8. I sold it as I wasn't using it a lot and the insurance and upkeep were getting a bit costly. I get my groceries delivered and pretty much everything else comes from Amazon. Where I need a car, I Uber or rent. I'm into my 5th year of this and, so far, I'm still saving $$$.
To me, a car is just "transportation." It's not a "statement." My home computer network is more of a statement than anything, i guess. That, and my "Inventory" collection.

a tad under 3 grand for 4 tires [AWD] E-RAY , i don't mind too much racing wear but no burn outs for the crowd
Working on the offroad vehicle today. Got her first coat of camo khaki spray paint today. Since I gave up on the CJ7 build I was doing, the Defender 6x6 has to be my military tribute. She's in "transition" so to speak, (if I can say that without triggering anybody... lol) to becoming a "baby deuce-and-a-half". At least this started out as a complete, running vehicle, so all I have to do is a few mods...
Yes, has HUD which I think is standard on the RS6. You can only see the HUD from the driver's view. Pretty much loaded including CC brake package.
I have the CC brakes on my small chevy they do bring 2 tons to a halt rather quickly ,i have been spoiled by HUD since 2001 . I am envious of your HVAC controls
This is only the second car I've had CC brakes on. The first being my 997.2 GT3rs. The rotors are just under 18 inches and the calipers are 10 piston. They work well and save 75 lbs of rotating mass. I would have preferred them on my 991.2 GTS but it was sitting on the showroom floor with everything I wanted except the carbon ceramics and it was Voodoo Blue, so I bought it. I'm sure they work well on your Vette. You had HUD way before me as my first car with it was a 2012 BMW 550i. Thanks for the compliment on the HVAC. I like it also. I'm not a huge touch screen fan, but at least all of the screens on the RS6 look built in.
The large shampoo jug on the right is Meguiar's Detailer Hyper Wash and I use Griot's Garage Foaming Surface Wash in the foam cannon. I also have a couple of Chemical Guys shampoos. I haven't tried any Adam's products yet.
From the detailing forums ( I go to the forums that have members that detail for a living..they care about cost and consistency more than we do) chemical guys sold a while ago and some products “slipped”.
Since it’s all made in China anyway..adams and carpro products have served me well so far
